Privacy Policy
LAST UPDATED: AUGUST 2026
Roombump is built to leave little trace. Rooms fade, nicknames are throwaway, we collect as little as possible.
What we collect
- Nickname and messages for the room you are in.
- Basic browser and approximate region to keep bumps working.
- Email only if you contact us.
What we do not collect
We do not require real name, phone, or precise location to bump.
Cookies
We use local storage to remember a nickname if you ask us to. Clear it anytime. No ad trackers.
Reports
When you report, we review the last ~20 messages in that room. Otherwise we do not read your chats.
Retention
Messages are kept briefly for moderation then removed when the room fades. Contact emails kept only to reply.
Age
For 16 and older.
